During our time in San Marcos, Guatemala, we were contacted by the coordinators of the Nutrition Center Konojel. They provides 60 lunches, 5 days a week, to the towns poorest children, elders, and single pregnant women. They used gas as their fuel source and wanted to change for a sustainable source that is better for the environment and saves some costs. So we decided to build them an institutional Rocket Stove. We prepared the materials and asked the project for some interested people so we can teach them how to build the stoves themselves! The result can barely be seen but people are very happy that they learned a new skill they can also implement for their own family kitchens!
