- Project Management and Coordination
- International Cooperation
- Designer for Clay Plastering
- Trainer in Natural Building
My acdemic background is a Master’s Degree in International Development with a focus on sustainability. I have been cooperating in international projects to enhance the living conditions of marginalized people, fostering the vernacular architecture of the region and teaching modern natural building techniques. My mission is to empower people with the skills to create their own affordable, ecological and beautiful homesteads.
I am passionate about sustainabilty, permaculture and building with local and natural materials. I am a certified designer in clay plastering and have been training and working with professional natural builders in North-America and Germany. I love the versatility of clay sand and straw, the detailed work, the creativity and aesthetics combined with functionality.
Besides my academic degree, I hold a certificate in Permaculture Design (PDC), did a Permaculture teacher training with Rosemary Morrow (Author of Earth User’s Guide to Permaculture) and Alfred Decker from Permaculture Barcelona. In 2014 I got a certification in Design in Clay Plastering form the European School of Earth Building in Wangelin, Germany. In 2015 I participated in an Earthbag Training with Owen Geiger in Nepal and worked for an NGO in a re-buidling project. The latest project is an adobe school (mudbrick) in cooperation with the German NGO FORWAC e.V. that will be realized in 2018.
